Fabulous 5 days of cycling around Lac St Jean!
With 3 other cycling friends, we started our circumnavigation of Lac St Jean, in Alma, Quebec. The Headquarters in Alma was very helpful and friendly and attended to the transfer of our luggage from hotel to hotel. The entire trip of 5 days was full of beautiful views, well-marked trails/roads and friendly people. We sampled the local foods including tortiere and of course, plenty of homemade blueberry pies. We would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Blueberry travel around the lake
Perfect blend of exercise and sightseeing. Equinox Sport saw to all our travel needs. Easy cycle, many places of interest along route. They offered us an all inclusive package and booked all of our accommodations.

Beautiful area
Great area to cycle and see a variety of landscape. Lakes, falls, dams, forest. Route around the lake in good shape, both along main roads and cycle paths. Fun to take the cycle ferries. One we took was free the other charged money. Some hills that are manageable. If you plan to see and pick blueberries plan your trip around that time of the year. Plan to have Lac St Jean tourtiere and wild blueberry pie! We found you had to be careful at crossings on main roads as not all vehicles stop or stop in one direction and the other may not! People are friendly and helpful with some English spoken. Take your time and enjoy being outside!

Wonderful biking
Lovely scenery and great bike trail. we did it in 3 days and used the luggage shuttle service. Lots of quaint spots to stay along the way. Highly recommend.
