The Véloroute des Bleuets is in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, region, more precisely in Lac-Saint-Jean, 481 km from Montréal (about a 5-hour drive) and 232 km from Quebec City (about a 2 hour and 30-minute drive).
Renting a car can be an interesting option, as it gives you more freedom. You’ll be able to take full advantage of your stay and hit the road after cycling on the Véloroute des Bleuets. Intercar offers bus transportation services from Montréal or Quebec City, as well as from Saguenay to Lac-Saint-Jean.
Ask our customer service about the policies related to the transportation of your bicycle. In many cases, it must be packed in box that can be purchased locally. Remember to bring a tool to remove the handlebars or wheels if needed.

View schedules and routesVIA Rail Canada offers train transportation. There are three departures per week from Montréal to the Chambord train station where you will be less than 1 km from the Véloroute des Bleuets or to Saguenay (Jonquière station). From this location, you can travel by bus with Intercar to Lac-Saint-Jean. You will also find three departures per week from Quebec City, but they will only take you to Saguenay (Jonquière station).
A fee of $25 will be added for the transportation of your bike.
